Here’s a story about a lovely lady who was an NBA dancer but was embarrassed to wear the clothes provided to her as a pro. Because of her belief in the “idea that women deserve better sporty apparel; activewear that is comfortable, yet sexy and designed for the female body”, she became a women’s athleisure wear designer. Her goal was to design activewear that celebrates, never objectifies, the beauty of the female body. The experience of 25 years in ballet plus her experience with the NBA gives her a great understanding of how the female body moves and each of her designs is created with that in mind.
