Joe Biden is My President

In fact, Joe Biden is my 46th President. I don’t say that to start a debate or cause someone any concern. It is just simply a fact. Because I am a Christian, I don’t have to make a decision as to whether or not to accept his leadership as President. The Bible clearly instructs me concerning government leaders.

Romans 13:1 (CSB)

Let everyone submit to the governing authorities, since there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are instituted by God.

For that reason, I have to say Joe Biden is My President. But that is not the only reason.

Joe Biden

Joe Biden is my president because I am an American.

I learned while serving in the United States Air Force that I didn’t have any good options other than obeying orders from my superiors. It really didn’t matter if I liked the orders or not. Nor did it matter if I liked the superior or not. My duty as a member of the military was to carry out orders from my superiors. The supreme leader for all the US military is The President of the United States. He is the commander-in-chief of every branch of US military.

Lyndon B. Johnson was my Commander-in-Chief as I served during the Vietnam War period from 1964-1968.

Even though I was not alive while most of my presidents served, they were still my presidents. I always try all that I can to respect the office. Of course, I don’t always agree with everything the president does, but he is still my president. Before Joe Biden, Donald Trump was my president and before him, Barack Obama was my president, etc. There have been some that I liked and appreciated more than others, but the fact remains that they were still my president as long as they served in the office.
